A private racetrack and country club for car enthusiasts, Atlanta Motorsports Park offers trackside condos where clients can pull their racecar out of their garage and race around the track while being immersed in racing culture with like-minded neighbors.
In this kitchen we did a slick lacquer finish on the cabinet, a 3-dimensional wall tile, open shelves and an oval island light as a reference to the track shape. In the powder room, we did a cement countertop as reference to the rough textures found on the track with a handmade Moroccan tile and joystick faucet.
And for the littlest kart racer who lives here, we ran a tire tread-like tile up the back wall in his bathroom or a fun material boys are sure to find “cool.” Everything black, gritty and textured like asphalt, is perfect for racing fans.
